It remains to be seen whether their proximity will rekindle old feelings or if they will be able to maintain their distance. The protagonist’s parents are declared traitors and she is punished for their actions by being treated as a slave within the Beta family’s household. However, she soon discovers that others within the pack are trying to exploit her.
I read a 2 book series that took me about 2 months to read, usually it would have took me at most a week, depending what all I had going on at the time. I don’t like that the points expire. It take to many ads to get points to move forward. Readict gives you lots of points, you can watch 1 ad or use points to move forward. It’s not bad for what it is, and there are a handful of ways to make free points to unlock paired for chapters. Think of this as an audio version of episode .
I really like the app overall it’s really cute and good idea and I can’t physically reading my books because I’m busy, listen to the book makes it 30 times better. The Woodlands Academy, also known as Lycademy, is a school for werewolves entering adulthood. At this school, students learn about their world and train in various skills. Many of them also hope to find their soul mate, which is becoming increasingly difficult in the werewolf world. The main character, Nica, is a member of the Crescent Moon Pack and has two brothers, one of whom is also a student at the school. Finding love is never easy, but many students at Lycademy are successful in finding their mates.
Paranormal YA romance tends to be riddled with uncomfortable, quasi-rapey depictions of romance, especially with werewolves, lots of objectification and violent possessiveness. A lot of the interactions between the main character and her love interest were actually pretty sweet, and I was rooting for the main character’s liberation from her tragic background. The villains have a degree of sympathy for them while still being duly punished and castigated. The main cast is also generally likable, something also rare in a lot of YA.
I never pitied anyone, because the grass wasn’t greener on this side either. But the one woman I felt bad for all my life was the unknown mate of the man who is getting… Addison Avery’s life has been completely flipped upside down when her mother announced that they would be moving from sunny Arizona to the small forest town of Midnight…
There should be a way out of this. However, when looking past those things and engaging with the story on a more theoretical level, look at it for what it’stryingto be, it’s actually not that bad. Ash realizes that he is in love with Rylee, but it’s too late. On the night of his Alpha ceremony, Rylee is given her second chance mate, another Alpha. Unbeknownst to her, Wyatt has been in love with Rylee since she was ten years old.
This is definitely a story where you should go in with very low expectations, so that you’ll come out pleasantly surprised. I think that this is an author who deserves encouragement and guidance, not blind bashing. With more practice, we could get something really great out of her.
For the first time, he met someone who dared to defy him- the love story of a stubborn Alpha and his careless Luna-to-be. When a wanted terrorist known as the Chameleon threatens England, it’s up to the code-breaker’s daughter, Bexley Barker to track down her mother’s clues before they do. Teamed with her four childhood enemies, devilman crybaby club The Wolfe Brothers, hot as hell MI6 Agents with a license to thrill and kill, it’s a race against time as they scour the globe. Asher, Braxton, Cruz, and Dominic are two sets of identical twins who have a hidden agenda. They want Bexley as their shared lover, and they will stop at nothing until they win her heart.
